We should use the same game plan we did last week - pound the rock and find ways to get our speed on the field for short completions. If Gaines is out this week I'd prefer more blitzing though. Brees is a much smarter QB than Carr... |

1 sack at the most. Brees gets rid of the ball. |
So far 4-1 picking Chiefs games this year...
I'll go Chiefs 34, Saints 17. They just can't hang up front on either side of the ball. Offense isn't the same for them on the road. Ware, Charles and West might run for 200 yards. Peters intercepts a pass. |
Chiefs have longest active home winning streak. Saints give up the most points in the league.
Hope that adds up for us |

It won't be easy, but it should be a W... |
Brees has the ability to make you pay, but if the protection in front of him keeps him on his toes- even if it doesn't end up being a sack, I like their chances to force a couple of turnovers that could decide the game in the Chiefs favor.
I'm still a bit surprised by the size of the spread. It's a completely winnable game with the caveat that if they aren't focused on and still patting themselves on the back for the Oakland game, the Saints are more than capable of turning it into a trap game and coming away with a W. I'm interested in seeing how they respond and if they are going to come out and take care of business and show the discipline necessary to elevate their play and build on last season's playoff success. |
I really want to see kc come out focused to run the ball again. I don't want to see Alex chucking it all game and and abandoning the run. Don't get cute Andy.

Smith while he isn't a gunslinger, can still push it deep. He showed that in a windy rainstorm in Oakland.

I love the transitive logic of one of the posts there: If Atlanta can win at Denver, we can win in KC. wut??? |
