What an incredibly sad sentence. Might not be wrong though. How is it that a town that used to be known for cattle shipping has shit for steakhouses?

OK, so to class that up a little, our first date was actually Phantom of the Opera at The Kansas City Music Hall, and Perkins was the only thing open on the way home. And neither of us got to eat more than a half piece of cake at our reception and were starving, so we thought it was a nice bow on our courtship.

While i haven't eaten there in a long time, when i did it was always good.

Ruth's Chris is a nice. The plate comes out at 450 degrees i think she said. Steak is swimming in garlic butter. The porterhouse is exceptional.

I dined at the Chophouse last year and it was awesome. I had Ruth's Chris in OKC a few years back and I prefer the Chophouse. The Red Oak I think actually had a better steak than both. What's that? Baxter Springs, KS?

Red Oak is good, it's inside of Downstream Casino located where Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma meet.

Here is the only list you'll need:

Lidia's
801 Chophouse
Bristol
Rye
Tavern in Mission Farms
J Gilberts

But seriously, try Rye, especially if you'll be in Leawood anyway. Come back to this thread. Thank the **** out of me.
