I'm doubt he retires.. Probably just an emotional tweet after a tough and frustrating injury.

If he does retire, so be it. His choice and I won't hold it against him. It does show a lack of passion for the game but we'd all be kidding ourselves if we think all these guys are playing because they love it.

Some are simply playing for money or have other interests in life they are more passionate about and want to spend more time doing. So once they get paid millions and are set for life they could decide to retire at any moment especially after a serious injury.
