Thanks buddy....I don't know how you have the stomach to write these lists sometimes... I just wanted to throw shit afterwards...
Kelce would be one of the last players I would have throw a pass.. his decision making is almost as bad as Alex...
They do self scouting during the bye week... well.....their scouts suck... they don't have a clue whats wrong or how to fix this shit show....

This was one of the worst games I've ever watched.

If you just happened upon this game, you would think that both teams were terrible one or two win teams.

Both teams played sloppy on both sides. The offense were so inept that both defenses put in 'good performances', but there was no good defense in this game. Just sloppy offenses failing for 3 hours. I know it would go into overtime, if only to torture me for another 30 minutes with some of the worst football ever. After all of that, KC still lost to a 1-8 team.

It embarrassed me as a fan. I'm going to a game in december, and I want Mahomes. He's marinated enough he can show us what he's got. Otherwise I dunno how much I'll WANT to go.

Sorry, George. I dont need, or want, to read ten things about today's fiasco. I just want to be done with it.

Clark is on the horn telling the player's and coaches "not to worry".

I was apathetic for a good portion of the game.

I found myself pissed off at halftime for the shit showing, but about midway through the 2nd half: I just came to accept it and really didn't react when the Giants booted home the game winner.

The defense is atrocious. Sure, focus on the 12 points given up today and give a golf clap, but if you watched this shitfest you'd have seen Manning missing receivers and receivers plain dropping the ball. Having to hope for the offense to shit themselves is not considered good defense. The Steelers or Patriots will wipe the goddamn floor with this defense if we were ever lucky enough to make it to Round 2.

The offense has regressed to the point where I don't even know what to make of it anymore. Kareem Hunt has been ineffective and without a rushing game that puts the pressure squarely on Alex Smith to make plays. As we've seen in the previous five games, he's not getting it done (for the most part anyways, the Raiders game was not his fault) and SPOILER: he will not do it come playoff time. It's more of the same bullshit of watching open receivers down the field go ignored while Alex checks down for 2-3 yards. As you said in your 10 Things, we're not seeing Mahomes this year. I've accepted that barring injury, it's Alex for the rest of the season and I highly HIGHLY doubt we see any miraculous swings back to the offense we saw in Weeks 1-5. The Steelers (these ****ing assclowns) exposed the Chiefs and Andy Reid hasn't caught on. Andy Reid is our Donald Trump. He thinks he's the smartest person in the room and is playing some kind of 5-dimensional chess when honestly, he's just making an ass of himself. What the ever-loving **** is Kelce doing throwing the ball? I asked that same question when Hill did it vs Denver and I'm asking it now.

The rest of the AFC West may catch up with the Chiefs, and they may not. I have no idea how we still have a 2-game lead in the division, but that affords KC enough breathing room to un**** themselves for the time being. Honestly though, why bother making the playoffs? We know this tragedy plays out in one of two ways: either the defense pukes all over their dick for 60 minutes or Alex Smith dinks and dunks his way to a narrow loss. God forbid the offense and defense both get on the same schedule and decide to shit themselves on the same day in January to really embarrass the shit out of everyone.

We're stuck with Alex Smith trying to polish the turd that Bob Sutton leaves in his Depends every Sunday. I've accepted it and I hope other have as well. Regardless of how the rest of this layer cake of excrement plays out over the next two months, I'm psyched to see Mahomes take control in 2018 with hopefully a retooled and newly supervised defense.

Ten Things about Today’s Game: Week 11: NYG 12 - KC 9

10. So if you're expecting optimistic Blowfish, stop reading now, because this effort was nothing but a gutless abortion by your Kansas City Chiefs.
Another year and another game to add to the Chiefs Trophy Cabinet of 47 years :shake:

9. Dan Fouts die horrible, lingering painful death.
And Eli had probably ten balls dropped on him.
Because Chiefs.
---Fouts was wrong with 90% of his comments. He is the WORST broadcaster I've ever seen. He is to broadcasting as Philip Gaines is to cornerback! How's that for an analogy! ROFL
---Giants receivers had balls hit them squarely in the hands and dropped them all game. We were lucky and I thought that would be a sign of us winning but I was dead wrong!
---Yes once again, Because Chiefs

8. Alex checks down and checks down and checks down.
Smith didn’t even try for the end zone or throw the ball past the sticks.
This is a one win team we're playing, remember?
---Alex has put his blinders back on and can't see past 6-7 yards. He once again had guys break open and missed seeing them including DAT who got 5 steps past his coverage going on an up and out side route.
---No attempts in the Red Zone into the end zone. That is pathetic!
---A one win team with SEVENTEEN PLAYERS ON INJURED RESERVE!!!

7. So Alex gets the ball back, throws long at Hill, who has his guy beat by three steps, but Hill has to wait for the pass because it’s woefully under thrown. Hill adjusts and comes down with the ball at the Giants 15 yard line.
Another poor underthrow to go with two passes that came up 6 yards short on 20 yard passes!

4. The defense held Manning to 205 passing and gave up only 112 rushing.
Every team in the league knows if you want to beat KC you just throw up a jump ball, and either your guy catches it, or he’ll draw a DPI.
Wile E. Reid however, refuses to throw the ball into the end zone inside the red zone.
The defense went another week without a sack.
Just an anemic, pathetic effort in overtime by the defense to allow an 82 yard scoring drive.
---Defense didn't hold Manning to 205 yards passing, Giants' receivers dropped at least 100 yards of catches to limit Manning. They were open all over the field.
---Our secondary is complete shit and Marcus Peters couldn't tackle a obese Girl Scout with one leg.
---Not sure what the hell is in Andy's head. :hmmm: The red zone calls are abysmal!
---We have NO PASS RUSH AND NO PENETRATION. There is no way to dominate or win in the NFL if you give a good to excellent QB 5-7 seconds to throw. Either he completes the pass or the defensive gets tired and holds a guy who breaks open.

3. Special teams were terrible too. There’s been too many damn penalties on punt returns.
We can’t stop a fake punt on 4th and two. Everybody in the stadium knew it was coming.
---Too many penalties everywhere and they never seem to be a false start on 1st and 10 at the 40 but a defensive holding on 3rd and 15 or a block in the back after a 35 yard punt return. Killing ourselves and that is 100% on the coaching
---EVERYBODY AND I MEAN EVERYBODY but the CHIEEEEFFFFFSSSSSS knew it was coming! :rolleyes
:

2. I couldn’t bring myself to listen to Wile E’s post game presser. Reid is supposed to be a genius coming off the bye week.
It was Matt Casshole all over again.
---This was the worst coached game in the Andy Reid era. If yo played Monday night and flew east and had a bad start, I could see that. But after a bye week and to play so dead and tired with those awful play calls? Hunt so underused.
---Yes, Alex Smith has gone into regression since the Steelers smacked his junk in.

1. So, we’ve lost four of the last five. The AFC West is a weak division. One team will come out of it; it might be us, and whoever wins will get smoked in the first round of the playoffs.
All I can say is, Happy Thanksgiving to all of us abused long suffering Chiefs fans; burn the game tape on this one, and let’s hope for better with some home cooking next week.
---We were never as good as 5-0 and we aren't as bad as 1-4. The pundits had us in the Super Bowl after 5-0 and I knew that was the kiss of death. They also had the AFC West as the toughest division and now they look like one of the weakest. IF we make the playoffs, we could even lose the first game at home. I have zero confidence in our ability and Andy Reid.

Happy Thanksgiving to you GB and Mrs Blowfish.

This loss belongs in the Top 20 of all time Chiefs debacles, probably around 15 or 16 after all the playoff loses and games like losing to the winless Oakland Raiders on Thursday night or the loss earlier on 3 un-timed plays.

I wasn't mad yesterday at all. Frustrated as hell and laughing at times at the futility but the anger left years ago. I smelled the loss by halftime. The team had two weeks to prepare and they looked like they just played two days ago. The most uninspiring play I've seen from them in a long time.

Thanks for taking time away from your vacation to write this and stomach watching our shitty Chiefs disappoint us once again!:clap:

How the hell we beat New England and the Eagles is still a shock! :hmmm:

oldman 11-20-2017 12:29 PM

Spot on on all 10 things, George. I think this one is harder to take than the Raiders loss.

They can't 'fix' it.

Teams are forcing KC into drop back passing situations, and KC designs their entire offense to avoid asking Alex to do that.

Because he sucks at it.

As we've all seen.

They're not going to teach a 13 year vet how to diagnose a defense and make a proper read and then have the BALLS to make the required throws.

He's had enough time to 'fix' this shit. I'm done waiting.

Marcellus 11-20-2017 01:08 PM

Spot on George.

It was just one big

Bring on the Mahomes.

Red Dawg 11-20-2017 01:12 PM

Smith should have been cut. They should have paid Nick his 10 mil and by now Mahomes would be playing at least. Why does Smith get to keep leading and offense to that's dead? Is there a viable readon? No.

Otter 11-20-2017 01:41 PM

I'll add the positives I saw from the game:

  1. The defense seemed to be playing more like an NFL defense and actually blitzing
  2. Butker seems to be one hell of a pickup even by kicker standards
That's all I got.

The Giants offense is terrible, especially their offensive line.

Did the Chiefs defense play well enough to win? Yes.

But the fact they couldn't get a sack on statue in the pocket Manning + a terrible offensive line isn't a good look for the Chiefs defense.

otherstar 11-20-2017 02:12 PM

Thanks, George. These last four games have been what I've had a bad feeling would happen given the hot start we had. Teams have to finish their season hot to do well in the playoffs, and I don't see that happening they way the Chiefs have been playing.
