Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Q39 and Joe's... but many other BBQ gets unnecessarily shunned due to the reputation of those two places.

Smokehouse (Zona Rosa) still has the best BBQ Beans, and their "Super Crispy" chopped brisket sandwich is better than Jacks "Poor Russ".

I prefer Q39 myself, but if my girlfriend wanted to go to JackStack, Gates or Bryants i wouldn't say no.

Zarda is definitely worth a trip when their rib tips are on special, usually at night after the dinner rush. I think a pound cost about $1.50.
