That doesn't really make sense, since they are similar.
And you'll notice I said I was happy they cancelled.
A lot of posters on CP really aren't too bright.

Are they?

I guess only fans of both would know.

I'm not a fan of Sinead O'Connor, but I know enough to know her music is very different from the Cranberries.

This is the first time I've seen my wife upset about a celebrity death. I remember her telling me Michael Jackson died with a smile on her face. I delivered the news to her today and she said, "No!!! That's terrible!!!".
The Cure and The Cranberries were an important part of our courting phase, (usually post coitus, while I was asleep).
I would tend to think that this was more likely due to an overdose of pain pills/w alcohol than a suicide.
Regardless, she had a beautiful voice and may she rest in peace.

The Natalie Merchant confusion is understandable. Most of the world can process only one chick singer at any given time in history.

Remember exactly where I was the first time I heard 'Linger', was totally enchanted, loved it... the ex and I went out and bought that album soon after

Her Irish lilt was beautiful, RIP

Is that the one with the woman that sings in the background of the dog pound commercial?

You could feel the Ocean Spray off the Irish coast in her voice.

The trick is to get them when they are still relatively young and don't grow as much body hair. Late teens, early 20's.

I have to admit that when I saw the name in the thread title I thought it was the "I'm Only Happy When It Rains" girl.

Didn't she star as Charles Manson's mom in a TV show where they all formed a band and went on tour before he masterminded several murders?
