He needed to pound it behind the center's butt more.

I know this is the thinking, but I don't agree.

The hoodie never takes his foot off the pedal.

Don't stop doing what got you the big lead until the game is completely out of reach.

Andy got conservative, even though he wasn't pounding the rock.

Sweet, delicious, and limp-dicked butthurt at six-o'clock:

PMll will be a work in progress but I am most excited to see the Chiefs make the commitment to him by moving Alex, Although I don't think you will hear the end of this trade as Alex, with Washington may flourish. I have to say it for him, he doesvehas the respect of everyone inside the NFL not many can say that.
That's not respect, nimrod. It's pity.

Already wanting to trade both fuller and Peters, want to resign Hali, Ford and DJ to long term contracts. Feel we are a few better OL away from a championship.

I swear to god I am adopted.

Those values/takes represent everything that is wrong and HAS been wrong with the Chiefs and the fan base for 40+ years.
Stay strong, friend.

I'm being facetious.

People are dumbasses.

Also I don't think Andy got conservative. There wasn't one screen called.

This is the single most frustrating thing about reid. Regardless of what is working make them stop it. I hate trying to "trick" nfl staffs. They all have coaches studying film constantly. You may pull a fast one now and then but you aren't going to beat nfl teams by fooling them. Make them adjust to you.

After the trade my dads first response was "Washington is looking dangerous now".

I couldn't even respond to that. I just left it alone.

I'm 61. I went to Mahomes's first career start in Denver for a reason. First Chiefs game I have seen in person in over 10 years probably.

Damn. What is it like thinking your mortal clock is ticking after Mahomes retires.

That boy is your last your hope.

my dad like alex smith so do i but i have faith that andy reid will coach up patrick.

The CHunt and his dad have done a great job convincing the Chiefs fan base the path to success is avoiding being terrible and winning in the playoffs with defense, the running game, and a QB who doesn't make mistakes.

The Chiefs lack of playoff success is due to "favoritism" and the NFL being rigged, not the Chiefs trying a high floor, low ceiling approach that typically comes up empty in the playoffs.

So glad that time is over.

These same people will throw a fit if the Chiefs take a small step back next year, but that's on their inability to see the long term value. If it requires a small step back in 18 to take three more forward in 19, it's more than worth it.

... but I think the O will be better. Pat Mahomes is going to shine with those weapons.

When they use the word rebuilding the county should take their parking revenues, **** rebuilding, buy some talent and get it done

There are hundreds of threads that could be bumped to "told you so" regarding the Mahomes > Alex debate, but ehhhhh... not really worth it to relive all of that drama.

That said.

Told you so Alex Smith ballwashers. :D

Dream bigger.

It's amazing that this was actually the most optimistic projection any Chiefs fan could reasonably imagine. And PMII blew it out of the water.
