Wtf? We have 2 CB’s under contract for next season. Not to mention drafting for need is a terrible idea when picking late. BPA is the only way to go if we want to maximize value.

That’s spot on. I was just looking at our secondary on overthecap and Breeland and Fuller are both free agents along with Claiborne, but we can find depth. I understand this draft is heavy with CB and WR.

I don't begrudge him this...good for him if he gets a big contract. But I'm not certain he'll be pulling an Albert Wilson on the open market. He was a mostly a product of Pat. I mean...he was our 3rd receiver...and probably shouldn't have been, given Hardman would have likely out shined him had they given him more snaps.

BPA is the only way to go. Use FA to fill in the other positions as best you can - in Veach I trust at this point. Assuming Hardman is opposite Hill as starters, I'd like to see them either use Pringle in the slot (mainly for his hands...speed not so much) or look to add a faster slot type receiver from the draft in middle rounds. CB feels less important, depending on what we do with with the defensive line and linebackers. If we trade Chris Jones and don't upgrade the LB's, we definitely need some talent at CB. If we sign Jones and upgrade LB, CB just needs to be serviceable.

Wishful thinking here but if he doesn’t get a offer he really likes he should consider a 1 year deal to come back and he can replace Watkins. Run those numbers up and then go get a big contract.
