The Jets and Browns had acres of Cap Space so who knows if we were ever winning a bidding war with them for Johnson, Carrie, or Claiborne.

They way you said that made it sounds like they started the PC out by saying “Hey guys don’t worry about Watkins, him and Mahomes are starting to sync.

They were asked a question and answered it. What were they supposed to do?

The fact that they're having to answer the question is the problem here. If you're having to come out and answer questions about your big free agent signing isn't a good thing

I'm not convinced our secondary is going to be that bad.

Yea, I dont expect it to be great or anything close to it, but i think it will be better than people are making it out to be.

Yeah, looking at the sportrac breakdowns, it's rough. I mean, maybe a guy like Aaron Colvin, but that's a fair amount of coin for a guy that's not really been THAT great.

Lol the overreaction is absolutely ridiculous. The guy hasn’t even played a full game with a real gameplan yet. JFC this place has somehow become more unbearable even with our new shiny QB.

O.city 08-23-2018 01:07 PM

Until they are able to start stopping the run, it won't really matter on the secondary.

Well, when you make a guy that's had the career of Watkins thus far the highest paid WR , people would like to see some results I'd imagine.

Man, when you start looking around at free agency, really start to realize how you have to be able to draft well. FFS, guys get a lot of $

You kind of have to wait for the games to start if you want real results.

Devils Advocate. If you can't panic at negative results, should we not get excited about good results?

Marcellus 08-23-2018 01:13 PM

O.City would have cut half our starting roster by now. LMAO

He would be one hardass GM. :D

Yeah. He gets a pass. Considering Tyreek has been here three years.

listen if this is the best counter you can come up with to defend Watkins then its not good.

When you get paid as much as Watkins got, time is no excuse. Hes not a 5th round developmental pick. Hes a guy that got 16 million per to come in here and contribute and that expectation should be from day one. If he needs 1...2...5 weeks to gel then the contract is a failure, its lost ROI.

Did you know Hunt hasn't scored a TD the whole preseason?
