SR, not to hijack your thread, but my local Hardee’s is running a $5.99 5 piece Chicken Tender combo. Great deal for some great fast food chicken.

I don't think the ****fest that is our the closest Great White Devil building that I refuse to patronize. But even if it did, there is 0% chance I'd eat there. Lower probability of contracting something eating out of the biohazard bin at the hospital than eating at that shithole.

You're obviously right, but the local Methican Americans aren't smart enough to realize the ramifications of their decisions.

They went straight for the throat here right from the start though. They completely redefined "loss leader" when they went after the local grocery stores. Not to mention stiffing multiple local contractors during the building process. More than one went bankrupt over the deal. **** them forever.

As much as I hate to say this - this is the future. You (the customer) DRIVES to the store, picks up a scanner when you come in the front door, scan your order as you pick them up, bag them (with your own bags) pay for the groceries at your “Scanner” and carry them to the car yourself and then drive them home. Worst part? Prices go UP - rather than DOWN.

Basically, you are doing everything at the store but stocking the shelves - and whose to say that in the future, they won’t require the customer to unload the trucks when they arrive? Grocery shopping is taking on a much different “look” in the future.

Yip, I had that same take as a few others a few yrs ago - bottom line is - nothing lasts forever in this world - especially where employment is involved, it's sad but it's reality.
