I certainly understand the frustration, and I get that it's cumulative. But did anyone really think that the Chiefs would be 11-3 at this point in Mahome's first season as a starter?
People seem to be gnashing teeth that "we won't get to the Superbowl this year." That seems a little nuts to me. |
Most of you sound like whiny little girls. I get that the outcome sucked. I get that it's not the first time we've been gut punched.
But everything we want is still there for the taking. Just need to win the next one, which is fairly likely. Even if that doesn't happen, there's a solid chance the Chargers lose another. Berry's back and will be a boost. Watkins will return soon, along with hopefully LDT and Erving. Hopefully Fuller won't be out long. |

The Baltimore win proves that our offense does magical things in the 4th quarter when Andy Reid lets them attack. We saw it in NE, Denver, Baltimore. Bc there's nothing for Reid to manage - we have to aggressively score, we have to aggressively make stops. Simple.
Our offense looks sluggish when Reid chooses to protect the lead. We let SD, Pitt catch up to a huge lead early in the season. We were frustratingly inefficient on offense in the 2nd half vs. Jax, Denver (game 2), SF. Considering the "protect the lead" ineffectiveness has affected us all year, I'm not convinced whatsoever that Reid fixed the problems that led to 2 playoff losses that were literally historically embarrassing. |

We're not going to fix Bob this season. Lost cause. But we can get our offense to stay aggressive and not put the game in our Defense's hands. That is actually fixable if Reid gets out of his own damn way. |
