Another tragic loss of a bartender. Wait, he wasn't even 21. Times have changed.

Or maybe a steward was also stocking or something. Anyway, you're dead.

You had a charmed life. You were a first class passenger, you were likely having sex with Swedish women, and you survived.

According to wikipedia, you saved at least one other person as well. Here's what they say about Lifeboat D (in part).

In the end, about 25 people were on board when it left the deck under the command of Quartermaster Arthur Bright.[102][103][87] Two first class passengers, Hugh Woolner and Mauritz Håkan Björnström-Steffansson, jumped from A-Deck (which had started to flood) into the boat as it was being lowered, with Björnström-Stefansson landing upside down in the boat's bow and Woolner landing half-out, before being pulled aboard by the occupants.[104][65] Another first class passenger, Frederick Maxfield Hoyt, who had previously put his wife in the boat, jumped in the water immediately after, and was hauled aboard by Woolner and Björnström-Steffansson.[103][104] The number of people on board later increased when about 10–12 survivors were transferred to collapsible D from another boat.[102][103] Carpathia picked up those aboard collapsible D at 7:15 a.m.[46]

That is appropriate given the years I spent working behind bars.

Youssef's age is given as 15/16 but the notes speak of a wife - perhaps an error? CJB

I was thinking he could have been married as an arab-type guy, but having three kids at age 15 seems like a stretch.

That was Elias’ brother. I copied the wrong one first.

Looks like I helped build the damn thing.

https://www.encyclopedia-titanica.or...as-millar.html

By the time of the 1911 census Thomas and his family were resident at 14 Hillman Street, also in the Dock Ward, and he was described as a fitter. He reportedly helped build the engines for both Olympic and Titanic.
