Well the Pats get to start 3-1 at worst.

In58men 04-17-2019 09:57 AM

Chiefs/Pats won’t be prime time.

I’m pretty sure it’ll be flexed.

O.city 04-17-2019 10:02 AM

CBS can protect it right?

Chiefs/Patriots will be a 3:25 CBS game that 90% of the country gets which is basically a primetime game

And I’m not sure

Yes they can protect certain games after a certain week I believe. Could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's why Pats-Steelers hasn't been a Sunday Night game recently.

Yes FOX/CBS get to select certain games on their conference slates to protect.

ChiefBlueCFC 04-17-2019 10:11 AM

Also, do people have schedule release watch parties? I've never really cared about the schedule being released, as we already know who the Chiefs are playing, but I'm curious if people like really celebrate it?

I agree. But the way the NFL hypes it, I was curious if people actually did this. OR if the NFL is just oblivious to what is real.

Neat, we get to play in New England and Chicago in December

Of course the NFL continues to make all of our primetime games on the road.

I am glad to not be in NE for the opener. I feel that's like catching a break.
