I hear what you're saying, but I'm not sure what a "franchise" is. Is it the number of films, the story, what? Both Batman and James Bond were great, but how many people played those roles. How many takes can you do on Batman's character? Both Rocky and Godfather followed one story. Those 2 superb franchises should not have met until at least the Final Four. But like you, I had to go with the Corleones.
