Attacking players personal lives and putting their addresses in public is crossing a line.

There was a time when reporters, especially local, wouldn't have even IMAGINED writing a story about a players personal life. In the old days, the press and the players were good friends who spent a lot of time hanging out together.
Hell, there were even "Joe Lunch box" fans who lived in the same neighborhoods as some of the players and would have them over for BBQ and beer.

At this point, I don't care if I ever hear about another pro athletes private life for the rest of my own.

I remember Joe Montana talking about playing catch with guys in his neighborhood. Now days you could never do it because it would get posted on twitter and everyone would know where he lives.

Shit is really out of control.

She knows she'll never see one up close, much less utilize one. Your typical "I can't get one, so I'll say I don't need one! Yeah, that's the ticket!!!" kind of bitch, then spends her remaining two hours a day crying over a Ben and Jerry's. Nevermind being obese, in the one picture I saw of her she was a solid 1.5' taller than the angry lesbian standing next to her. That's a huge bitch! Butt ****ing ugly to boot.. I wouldn't **** her with a stolen dick and someone else pushing...

I don't have a working theory on those other ****s yet. Cheating spouses? Trump being president? Jealousy of legitimate writers? Perhaps they're hoping to garnish enough SJW clicks to propel themselves into ESPN stardom, as if ESPN is anything to aspire to... Bunch of miserable ****s, the lot of em'.

IDK, but I do know I've never seen a liberal smile... Unless they're talking about how they ruined a someone else's day

She just got married to a guy she met on Tinder.

For their first date, her fat ass was afraid of going hungry so she was late because she was eating leftover spaghetti.

(All true, by the way)

How do I know this?

Because I have the internet, and am a better investigative journalist than anyone involved with the KC media.

Local media is trying to be TMZ.

TambaBerry 05-01-2019 06:35 AM

I sent a message through the kcstar facebook page and told them I will not be clicking on or reading anything star related while Brooke is still an employee there. I also sent a message to kctv5 and said I am disgusted with their ratings grab about the Hill stuff. They sent me a generic message back

One of things I always liked about KC as it relates to the players is that a guy could come here, an unproven rookie or as famous as the Eiffel Tower, and as long as he was cool to the fans and kept it real, he could walk down the street and the people would give him his distance, respect his privacy, and just let the man and his family live.

And all conversations when they occurred began with a tone of respect and courtesy. It seems we're losing that. KC is losing the "small town" city-charm that made players want to stay and raise families here. I wouldn't trade one Bobby Bell for the entire KC media in a hostage situation. They'd just have to tough it out while while Bob and I go get a drink and talk about the old days back in Gladstone. :D

Remember when in journalism they taught ethics?

How about KCTV5 having audio that could impact an investigation and a child’s well being... having it for weeks... and then choosing to drop it one hour before the draft for maximum exposure for the station/reporter?

****ing sick people.

It's one thing if some weird stalker looks it up......it's another for it to be put on the local news.

Why broadcast it?

I think this happens all over... back in the 80s, the Denver media would report on the type of candy the Elways distributed at Halloween. And, in this day and age, I don't think it's too terribly hard to find out where these guys live.

I started working in newspapers in 1984. The era you speak of was long gone by then. Aside from Senior Circuit golfers, there’s are no athletes active today who knew those bygone times. These guys all grew up knowing the game: You get celebrity, and we get your ass if we can.

(I say “we,” only for the structure of the thought. I was out of the news business by 1992.)

True, but he wasn’t always happy about the attention
