It's special because you don't live here.

We can high-five in our shorts on the Hermosa Pier and then put back some pacificos and watch the sun set.

Lots of culture, great food, driving distance from skiing, beach, desert, mountains, forest, etc. SoCal has great weather year round and NorCal is ****ing gorgeous. Earthquakes and fires are an issue and rent/cost of living is kinda bonkers but otherwise it's pretty great.

or at Jalapeno Pete's!

Pete's is a couple blocks from my place on Colfax. They have two for one drinks. It's a recipe for forgetting things. And maybe accidentally ending up face down in the LA river.

It also is a designated CHIEFS bar on game days!

Yes I am well aware I'm the one who told Jonathan to move it there!

Then the Draft got new management and cleaned the place up and became Thirsty Merchant and now I kinda want to go back haha

Nice thing about Pete's is it is Chiefs wall to wall. Chiefs fans would have to push a lot of people out to get back into Thirsty Merchant. It's a good place to watch a game, though.

People in KC should stay and enjoy the humidity and 100 degree heat indexes when it's 87 in the summer, and the zero degree wind chills when it's 20 degrees in the winter.... and not seeing the sun peek out of the clouds for days at a time is healthy for you or something. Those 3 weeks of nice weather in October are amazing.

Arizona sucks. Stay out.

Thanks.
