I don't know if it is mentioned in the movie but Ferrari made axis weapons in WW2 and Ford made allied weapons or vehicles so the bad blood goes way back

Oh, it's been on Armour Rd forever. It was called the Center Theater It was where we went to see movies till Antioch Theater opened and it was within walking distance for us.

Although I did own a modern day bad ass car, my racing knowledge is for shit. I had a vague idea of what Lemans was but not much. I still enjoyed the movie.
