**sigh** not at this moment but I got to come up with some bait or dig for worms. I'm not out there right now.

Would you classify yourself as completely feral?

If so, how many acres of land do you require to accomplish that?

If not, what goods or services are you importing into your domain, and do you have a plan in place to begin making them yourself?

I'm still doing research to answer this question: https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/show...ighlight=feral

Held over as an employee, or....?

I didn't know that state psychiatric hospitals still existed. I thought they'd all been shut down in favor of some other model that clearly isn't working. Are your folks voluntarily there, or does Missouri allow involuntary admissions?

We get "mandated " that means if we don't have relief we are required to stay up to 16 hours. I've seen nurses get held over for 22 hours. You can refuse a mandate but then you get wrote up and eventually that can cost your job but mandates get old.

Maintenance thing, or being an orderly thing?

Knowing a few stories myself, owing to living in a town with with a huge, old, but recently closed down asylum... not sure if I could handle the strain of dealing with the latter

And yes in Kansas they are typically involuntary admitted to our hospital and we get guys from jail all the time because they tried to hang themselves in the jail cell.

That seems kind of weird, but I guess it's a public safety issue (or patient safety). I wonder if people like police and firemen and jail guards and air traffic controllers have a similar system.

An orderly thing. Getting vitals and what ever needs done keep patients from harming themselves or others but mostly can sit around and color or hang out but also do location checks.

We are just understaffed and part of the problem with that is location not much people are willing to work out here and its desolate area. The amount of turnover is crazy. Larned state hospital has been I'm the news because of lack of staffing
