I got ribs, pulled pork, smoked turkey, and brisket!

Whatever lack of cooking genes my family has, my wife and in laws are the exact opposite. We’re gonna feast this weekend. Started tonight with my BIL’s homemade burger bar. Tomorrow he and my wife will make all the traditional stuff. Then Friday, rack of lamb. Then Saturday, a bunch of stuff but featuring venison that my BIL and nephew shot a couple weeks ago. Imma gonna gain like 50lbs this weekend.

I called about 8 places to try and get a reservation for 1 person and every place was booked. God damn economy is too good and too many snowbirds and recent transplants from California have come into Scottsdale/Phoenix.

I gotta find a place because I'm not eating fast food or shit food.

There will be turkey and ham at both Thanksgivings I attend today. I'm in charge of the mashed potatoes and gravy at the first one.

My morning go-to bar is open! Turkey and all the trimmings and football.....YEAH ME!
