Looked it up. 159 is correct.

Where is the "**** Yeah" option.

1. I didn't go on a ****ing vacation while a pandemic is underway.
2. I didn't digest some fish tank cleaner because I'm afraid of the Corona Virus
3. I didn't attend classified briefing about a pandemic and then suddenly sell all my stock.
4. I don't spend more than I make.

So yeah.

I'm a helluva lot smarter than half the population about a lot of things. Other things, not so much.

Monticore 03-24-2020 03:34 PM

95% of the people I ask this question get it wrong.

A bat and ball cost $1.10.

The bat costs one dollar more than the ball.

How much does the ball cost?

Spoiler!

God, that was an epic thread.

Miss him.

Some people say he's still here but I don't see anyone demonstrating his level of dumbfunniness.

I think most confuse interests with smarts. I know nothing at all about soccer, but could write a book on sprinting.

I do think if ship wrecked on a deserted island, then we'd see the differences in intelligence. My grandpa would do just fine, my lawyer friend, hmmmm?

Rain Man 03-24-2020 03:36 PM

I can't figure out how to vote on this, but assume that I'm a yes.

Monticore 03-24-2020 03:39 PM

Knowing you are not as smart as you think is a sign of intelligence, also my mom said I was smart .

Baby Lee 03-24-2020 03:50 PM

Speaking of smarts, does anyone watch University Challenge.

Those mother****ers are SCARY, like Ken Jennings pisses his pants SCARY.

I pump my fists and dance around if I can get 5-6 questions PER SHOW

And the proctor is 10x as withering as Trebek ever dreamed of. He's actually stopped to show to glare at contestants disapprovingly for an egregiously bad answer.

That’s truthfully how I feel, we all have strengths and weaknesses... there are many shades and variations of intelligence

My heads like a brick with numbers, always has been and always will be... but other facets are polished to a fine shine

Since I post here, the answer is yes.

backinblack 03-24-2020 03:54 PM

I've lived in enough places in this country, on both coasts, in the mid west, up here in the northwest, down in the south, to be pretty sure that I am smarter than a majority of American citizens. You never really believe it until you see it for yourself, but there are a lot of really stupid people out there, doing really stupid things.

PHOG 03-24-2020 03:55 PM

yes
