Of course some have rings but there are far more great ones without them
Giant lost the same without and with OBJ. What was our record when Hill was injured?

Makes no sense at all, unless maybe they are trying to move up to the no1 overall pick.

You can say that about pretty much any position apart from QB. The NFL even sees its fair share of great pass rushers and left tackles on shitty teams. Happens quite often.

Let's just take the left tackle position, which many people claim is the 2nd or 3rd most important position in football. The teams around those guys will change, and maybe those guys will see success, but there are a ton of all-time great LTs who don't have rings. Anthony Munoz. Willie Roaf. Joe Thomas. Ron Yary. Walter Jones. And let's take a guy like Orlando Pace, even. Got a ring. Had a nice run of 2-3 years. What happened before and after that playoff stretch with Warner, though? Rams went back to losing.

It's hard to win in football. You spend time acquiring and building your team the right way, and inevitably you're still probably going to spend your career in the era of a superhuman like Patrick Mahomes or a creepy undead robot who protects sexual predators like Bill Belichick.

WRs are in the same boat as everybody else, man.

They are replaceable like RBs. You need to spend max bucks om one.

If they trade Watson for any amount, they deserve to be at the bottom of the division for a decade.

Idiots.

Watson takes a ton of sacks every year. I don't understand why the media has to put him on the same talent level as Mahomes. It really is not that close and the last playoff game against them proved it.

He's a more electric runner than Mahomes without being quite as limited of a thrower as Lamar. That provides for some nifty highlights when he's out of the pocket and extending the play, and it also makes him hard to stop. Just ask Buffalo about that one.

I will continue to doubt his arm, however. It's not about arm strength, either. It's just that like every 5th or 6th routine throw that completely gets away from him. He's still young, I know, but it's a big reason why if Mahomes weren't in the 2017 draft, I don't know if Andy even gives a shit about trading up for a QB. He probably says, "Ehhhh... I'd rather just keep Alex going"

It’s a testament to BOoB’s incompetence that I half seriously opened this thread.

He'd make a great backup to Patrick if we sent Bob a 5th maybe he would go for it?

Mahomes is Jordan. Everyone else is competing to be Karl Malone, Charles Barkley, etc. Still great, but nowhere near the best

I think the Patriots are tanking for Trevor

two Miami firsts for Deshaun book it. Bob can get the picks he spent to protect deshaun back.

Maybe so, but finding a legit QB is THE hardest piece to fill. Getting rid of him would be colossaly stupid, no matter the haul.

Never get rid of a viable starting QB until you have another IN HAND.

Apparently PHI didn't get that memo . . . for that matter, neither did the AZ Cards for a few years.
