When my ears give me shit, we probably have similar problems, I get tinnitus. If there is fluid behind the drum I get white noise then tinnitus.

Yeah, I don't have any fluid behind the drum. I have permanent holes in mine. ;)

I got evaluated for some. Haven’t gotten them yet. In 2014 I broke an ear drum 3 times in 2 weeks and decided to make an appointment. Actually got a good rec from this place.

Oh we have ceiling fans in every room and our bedroom one is on every single night, even in winter. Just not the same sound as a fan and doesn’t help move as much air in summer out of our southwest facing bedroom.

I have a ceiling fan and an old Alexa that I use for white noise. Works great. Can choose your sound of choice and have it play until you tell it to quit.
