It's obvious at this point that Bell has lost more than a step. I'm honestly surprised by that; I really thought once he had some open ground in frton of him he'd show another gear, but he's had a couple opportunities now to stretch his legs and he hasn't even tried to reach for another gear.
However, as he's being used, I can't complain at all, except that I think he should be used as a split-back more often to get into the passing game. He's also a great pass pro back, and he's got a much bigger catch radius than CEH, which should be used more often. |

Imagine playing in some shit hole where turnovers, incompetence, and all around complete failure is a regular occurrence on your way to getting your ass kicked every single week. Now imagine landing in some mystical land where 3 turnovers and several miscues are mere speed bumps on your way to kicking the shit out of your opponent, all while still collecting checks from the land of dumpster fire. He probably thinks it's all a dream and he'll wake up back in Loserville when the alarm goes off. |

CEH is still better but it's good to see Bell improving. He may have gotten out of shape in New York. |
He was brought in to be a backup and he did that just fine in the Denver game. He was never a burner, he looked for a hole and hit it. What holes do you see? Our O-line has only 1 true starter playing and is held together with bubble gum and baling wire.

Bell could be an interesting option to shore up the red zone offense. Would like to see him utilized a little bit more often there. He’s got about 20 pounds on CEH and has historically been good in the red zone. With the extensive offense line injuries, all options should be on the table for the red zone offense. JMHO (Glad we have him.)

Elongate his backup career??

There seems to be some saltiness on his end.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">lol the only difference with the steelers was they gave me opportunity... haven’t had that since I left, I probably need to play for a defensive minded head coach instead of these offensive minded guru’s ... <a href="https://t.co/JAT50XUm23">https://t.co/JAT50XUm23</a></p>— Le'Veon Bell (@LeVeonBell) <a href="https://twitter.com/LeVeonBell/status/1398013096149585921?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">May 27, 2021</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
If he wants playing time, he'll have a better chance going to a shitty team than the Super Bowl contenders he's been on. Not sure how that's rocket science.

Dude had dead legs. No pop.
**** that "patient" shit. That wasn't patience. He had no burst. |

1,000 posts for him to not sign with the Chiefs let's GOOOOOOOOO

I thought we got more out of McCoy when we had him than we got from Bell. McCoy couldn't hold on to the football. Bell just couldn't hit a hole. Both were basically toast when we got them.
