My son printed me the case and bought the electronic parts for a portable M12 pinecil power supply. Its pretty slick for small electronic parts soldering like guitar pots and pickups and other odds and ends.
https://images.cults3d.com/nwgkjv7BW...IMG_0288-1.jpg He also printed a tabletop smoking pipe holder and various pipe stems. Also 2 wireless internet child nodes wall mounts and a corner wall mount for a child node. Gets them off tables freeing up space. So now I know what to get him for Christmas. He and his buddy use his dads Prusa printers. I had no idea useful stuff was being created with this. |
Pretty cool Birthday gifts.

I printed a pipboy from fallout and painted it for my son for his birthday. Pretty happy with this one.

I can't remember if I shared this one before either, but last year I made a major award.

You could probably make a nice little side gig out of selling those pups the next 30 days or so. |

(Don't think it's out there, but I'll keep hunting...) |
Random things I've done so far:

1. The most organized "junk drawer" ever. 2. Cactuar from my favorite video game series (Final Fantasy) 3. Decorative change bowl 4. A bunch of earrings for my wife. I used the Chiefs earrings as a chance to get into a little CAD. It was surprisingly easy to just take the arrowhead logo, move things around, and turn it into something I could print. Anyway, definitely a fun little hobby. Time to tackle my shop pegboard next... |
