What did you expect?

Because idiots like Hog are using the stat to say Sorenson is better than HB.

Honey Badger had 62

Are you really using the statistic of tackles to compare Dan Sorensen and Tyrann Mathieu? ROFL

Sit back and WATCH Mathieus tackling technique. Mathieu is only good for a few spec plays a year. His production isn't near where it should be for his pay grade.

Oh, and by the way tackles are kinda important.

Megatron96 10-04-2021 07:52 PM

The coaches like him. They think he plays pretty well. End of story.

Which we should all be grateful that they don't pay the average CPer any attention at all.

LOL. Okay. You're right. Daniel Sorensen is good, and Tyrann Mathieu is not. Gotcha.

So you think Sorensen is a good player? Do you think coaches can't make bad decision? Or what exactly is the point of this post other than your normal homer shit.

You've been deep throating players and defensive coaches this whole time even though we have the worst defense in the league. Why can't you just say they're playing and coaching terribly?

I've said it before.

Dan's the bipolar girlfriend. One moment she makes you orgasm so hard you black out, the next moment she's keying your car.

Well Vern, it's like this: I never actually said DD was good; go back and reread my post. I quite clearly said "The coaches like him. They think he plays pretty well. End of story."

Remember?

And I never said anything about whether the coaches can make bad decisions. Just that they liked him.

And let's not forget one other thing, Vern: I've been right far more often than I've been wrong about the defense since 2019. Oh sure, I've made mistakes and made some bad calls, but I've owned them all. But overall I've been right more often than i was wrong.

And I'm betting that professional coaches with multiple decades of experience are probably right far more often than a bunch of keyboard warriors that never played a down in their lives.

just sayin'.

Dirty Dan is a folk hero. Shame on you for throwing shade on his name!

So why even be on a football discussion board if you are just going to go with whatever the coaches/GM do. What's there to discuss?

Hes just here to be the brave white knight for the coaching staff and front office. The guys a bigger homer than Staylor.

Short version, make a tackle, save a TD = valuable. But that's just my take. How can you make a satement like that when he has 3 (10%) for negative or no yards, 6 (20%) for 1-4 yards, and 9 (30%) within 5-9 yards? That's 60% of his tackles and he's a safety.

He's baby-sitting.

It's literally the same exact thing he was doing the first 11 weeks or so of the 2019 season. He's 'staying home' to try and help out the corners.

What I honestly don't understand is why Thornhill hasn't fully taken back his role. He looks healthy enough to me, and he has to be close to caught up book-wise by now?
