Donuts it is!

I can start working out tomorrow.

Plus I'm smoking some ribs today

You're a bad influence.

I would ask Haywire if there is any organization that is local to him that could use the funds would be a better choice.

I don't like donating to the Cancer Society, Heart Organizations et. al. because there is too much graft.

A nice local place that could use the funds would be a suggestion.

I like this.

Since I have the nuts back for a bit I'm over riding the wife and leaving the charity up to the board.

It doesn't have to be local to me.

Maybe Rainman can do a poll for which charity

Well, for whatever reason, Easy 6, you seem very hesitant to be the promoter/lead on it. There are several suggestions here, including Smitty's to-do list, the fundraiser link, my suggestion to ping AustinChief about the Donate link, and my offer to do the PayPal/GoFundMe/whatever if needed..... and it seems like that's all been met with nothing more than a continued plea for help.

That's already a lot of help and you'll need to move the needle some to get it going.

To go back to Smitty's suggestions....
- Name a charity.
....well, do that.

- Name the event.
....well, do that, too.

- Set a goal for the fundraiser
....and this, should be pretty simple to pick a number that's easily attainable.

- Figure out how to accept donations
...suggestions already made. I'd personally go the AC route first if you're only targeting CP for donations, or the fundraiser link, and then GoFundMe (only because I don't know the fees involved).

- Post threads at certain stages
...create the content. My suggestion would be to start with a video explaining everything above. Maybe add some humor in it by providing the starting point of conditioning (getting thrown from a mechanical bull after half a second, or trying to balance on an exercise ball, etc.). Provide the donation link and above information for each thread, or use one thread and add videos with previous progress in spoiler tags.

He sometimes will take a full run at you but I hit him in the head with whatever is closest and he stops. Anyways how about we see if bueller can ride him for 8 seconds too. I will take video and you can donate to his new charity.(st. Catherine hospital emergency room)

Just a thought:doh!:

LOL. I’m out on that. In theory I should be able to get that done. But nope.

Any interest in this?]

With the game being in the afternoon slot tomorrow I might take what’s left of my morning (after laundry and grocery shopping) and look at/compare go fund me and PayPal options just so we know what options/costs are.

Yeah I pm'd Haywire and bowed out, I'm just not the guy to lead the charge on this

Feel completely horrible because its something he reeeally wants and deserves to do, and of course anytime you can raise money for charity its a great thing... I'm all in for a donation of course, and to be a hype man of sorts if there is a role to be had like that

Sorry to let ya down buddy

Look what you've done already!

Got the ball rolling, driving up interest.
Got someone looking into funding options.
Got a mod on board offering to check with board owner.
Got someone willing to work on the tech end getting videos uploaded etc.

Terrible job man, just horrible. ;)
