One of the best (and most expensive) meals of my life was at Emeril’s restaurant in the Venetian. That was years ago, don’t know if it’s still there.

It’s definitely still there. Had our anniversary meal there and the food and service was top notch. $350 so it should have been

Bouchon at The Venetian is supposed to be the shit but we didn’t plan far enough ahead to get a reservation. I’m gonna make it a point to get there next time I’m there

Ah. So you stayed at the Rio. That's one of my favorite places to gamble. Not as crazy as the strip but they have all the games you'd want. Shitty sportsbook, but I watch football at the Westgate anyway.

I stayed at the Linq. Pretty sure that’s where it’s at

There are multiple Hash House locations on the Strip.

Maybe they moved it or opened a second location.

Looks like they have moved it to the Linq. Was at the Rio for years.

Bouchon for breakfast is amazing. If you get there right as they open, you shouldn’t need a reservation. Highly recommend.

If anyone on here is into sushi, there’s no better spot than Kabuto in China Town. Omakase style, and pricey, but worth every penny. You’ll need a reso about 2-3 weeks in advance to get in as the place is VERY small.

We go to Vegas with friends often as it is not that far of a drive from California. We stumbled upon the best Dim Sum place by accident and now go there for lunch every time we are in Vegas. It is New Asian BBQ, it is off strip and surrounded by good sushi places, etc. It is authentic, so I will say that in advance.

So I’m sure you can get a Wagyu steak at other places, But we went to Top Of The World last night and I had one for the first time. Just wow. Didn’t even care how much it cost, because it was one of the best meals I’d ever had, and the views just added to it

There is a big Chiefs presence in Vegas this weekend. Tons of people in chiefs gear everywhere.

I refuse to stay at hotels that add secret "resort fees" to the bill, so I don't stay on the strip. I always stay downtown.

Freemont hotels don't charge resort fees? Back when I went to Vegas a lot, no resort fees was a selling point of Ceasars properties, but not anymore. They're gonna get that extra $35 from me no matter what, why not let me gamble it?

Next time I go to Vegas I'm seriously considering staying at Gold Coast, they treated me wonderfully there my last Vegas trip.

Even Harrahs NKC has a $20/day resort fee.

Jewish Rabbi 11-13-2021 04:18 PM

Just get Diamond status at Caesars and don’t worry about resort fees

2112 11-13-2021 04:37 PM

I haven’t paid a resort fee in 20 years. And back then it was like $1.25 a night. In most cases invited guests (players) get it waived easily. I don’t spend any time in the room lol it’s a place to shit, sleep and shower.

notorious 11-13-2021 06:59 PM

Hotels charge resort fees because they don’t fall under the tax code. If they added that amount to the room charge they would tack the big tax to it, too.
