On paper this should be a game where both teams hit 30+, so I’ll predict a 17-10 chiefs win

Both defenses have the ability to play up.

It could very well turn into a 24-21 type game.

This would be a really good game to get a healthy Clyde back and utilize him like we did Williams last night. Williams is sure handed, but doesn't make anyone miss.

Clyde has never had a performance like Williams had as a receiver last night, unfortunately.

I hope that changes when he returns. CEH emerging as a receiver completes this offense, imo.

I am extremely amped for this match up now. I live in the heart of cowgirls country. My boss and most of my co workers are huge Cowboy fans. I need the sweet taste of texas tears.

Almost no running backs have games like Williams had last night. That has less to do with Williams and more to do with scheme and targets than anything.

This should be a great game, which means it'll likely be a stinker. IF both teams play their "A" game, this is GOTY potential.

Yeah I’m genuinely expecting it to turn into a very playoff grind type game. I hope we get one of those games where they let most calls go cuz this could be a truly great game if the refs don’t ruin it too hard.

With an increasingly stingy run defense from the Chiefs, I actually think this is a super favorable matchup for us. Cowgirls like to run the ball, despite Zeke not being what he once was. Their pass game is diminished when they can't run the ball very well. I think we likely present problems for them. In contrast, I pray they put Diggs on Tyreek. He's feast or famine. He can be burned if you use his ball-hawkish ways against him. Even with Gregory out, I hope Niang is able to go. Their defense is inconsistent and can be exploited.

EDIT: and yeah...if we win, we are looking good for the 2nd seed if we start a run after the bye. I don't think the 1 seed is as important. I'm bullish on the Titans ability to be upset at home by actual competition in the divisional round - especially after their cakewalk schedule to end the season.

If we win this game, we really need a compilation video of all the talking heads saying the Chiefs are done

Back when Jerry's house was brand new, I was able to flip it off on the way to DFW.

True story.

Yep. I'm okay with the Titans getting the 1 seed. They'll be ripe for an upset.

Everything is suddenly breaking KC's way. Amazing how quickly it can turn. Many thought the season was over three weeks ago.

Even if KC has to go to Nashville in the playoffs, I'll like their chances, especially with revenge on their minds. They'd be lazer-focused for that one, and when the more talented team is equally or more focused, that doesn't usually end well for the opponent.

The Titans are the '95 Chiefs.

They even have an ancient RB.

Clyde has only had 3 games in his career where he eclipsed Damien Williams Super Bowl production (4 catches, 29 yards, 1 touchdown). He really has not emerged as a pass catching threat and Williams has eclipsed his production as a receiver consistently since taking over.

I think this has more to do with Pat’s decision making than Clyde’s ability as a receiver. The checkdown has been more a part of the offense than it ever has with Pat these past few weeks, and if they keep that same philosophy Clyde should really be a sight for sore eyes and people will get back on the train quickly. Darrel simply isn’t a very good running back, he literally is just average across the board at every skill as a RB. Great TD catch yesterday though.
