To say Mecole Hardman isn't a disappointment is laughable.

Have to go back to 2019 to find an argument for a guy. I'm not even going to bother looking up any numbers because I can see with my own ****ing eyes that the Chiefs dont see him as a #2 WR and they just avoided spending on a WR because they were ready to give him his shot. This is a make or break year for Hardman and the longer the season goes the further down the depth chart he goes, and the team doesn't have an actual #2 WR that a non-disappointment receiver should be competing with. He's even lost his job as a returner now.

The kid plays football a lot better than you post about football. That is for sure. Ask anybody

All this pissing and moaning about players that we don't have. With all of Hardmans limitations, it's not him alone that's bogging down this offense

Mecole Hardman is absolute ****ing garbage. When I see number 17 lining up for an offensive play my confidence drops. When I see him in motion I think "what's the point?" Cut him now, please.

I am optimistic. Seems like the coaches did more self-scouting even before bye week.

I think Chiefs could have scored more during the winning streak if the game situations would have called for it.

Seems like Chiefs coaches are coaching more to game situation and I like what I heard from Andy Reid at post game presser when he said coaches need to put players in position to use their strengths.

I like these games where the Chiefs defense plays hard the whole game and the offense does not need to score every drive.

I switched the last two because Gordon's "production" has literally been negative so far.

The regression of Robinson has been weird and hasn't gotten any better since the preseason.

Hardman is a more dangerous weapon. I’d rather see him on jet sweeps and reverses

Pringle is the better receiver

Had 104 yard KO return touchdown after Chargers took a second half lead in season finale that Chiefs needed to have a chance at 2nd seed and first round bye.

His KO return when down 24-0 against Texans was the the first momentum changing play in the comeback.

He was awarded the Mack Lee Hill Award by the team as the top rookie for 2019.

I am not sure if the chiefs have an equivalent award for fans that don't know shit about NFL football but think that they do, but you can bet that a lot of folks here would get 1st place votes.

Chiefs should award one don't know shit about NFL football but think they do trophy per zip code.

Frank Clark ****ing sucks, and he was vital to our success in 2019, too.

Daniel ****ing Sorensen made arguably the play of the game in that Texans playoff game to REALLY get the momentum on our side to come back from 24-0. You don't see any fans on here defending his wrinkly bald Mormon ass these days, do you?

That was 2019, man. You've got to let go of the past. Hardman was fresh and new and gadgety and made some big plays back then. What the blue **** has he done in 2021?

Hell, at least Frank Clark has recently made a play or two. The only plays I can recall Hardman making this year have been ****ups and fumbles.

And after all of that, there is STILL time for Hardman to turn it around and be a legit receiver who runs good routes, makes plays, and doesn't need the ball ****ing spoonfed to him just to get him going. The problem is he has the time, but he's quickly running out of it. A couple of posts ago you kept calling him "the kid." He's not a goddamn kid anymore. This is his 3rd year. It was supposed to be a season in which he took the damn diapers off and started taking a leadership role on the team through his play on the field. And he has come up WAY short of that expectation. If he gets it going this year and into next season, then ****ing great, but do any of us believe based on his track record that he'll achieve that? No. Not at ****ing all.

Even his gadget plays haven't really been successful. Yeah, he's had an ok catch or two and gotten some first downs, but he's not the big play guy we drafted him to be. If he's not going to do that, and he's not going to demonstrate any kind of reliability, then he's not somebody we need to be grateful for, is he? He's just kind of there. Better than the training camp scrubs, more physically gifted than any old fart veterans we can bring in, but can't put it together and just sort of lives in his own mire of WR4ness.

Funny thing about it is, the same asshole fans who do not appreciate Hardman's production and contribution since he has been here would be against giving DK Metcalf, or Terry McLaurin or Dionte Johnson, a market value second contract if they were here instead of Hardman and had similar production that they have with the teams that did draft them. Or they would be saying some stupid shit about re-signing one of those guys and not re-signing Tyreek Hill to a market value deal.

This Chiefs team is much better than some of their "fans" deserve.

We wouldn't have a Superbowl without Dirty Dan either. I vote we give him 100% snaps again! If you don't want that, then you're not a real fan and don't deserve this team!!

Everything I wrote in the post you quoted and responded to was true.

Okay, you like to single out players to hate and criticize and then not give them any credit for the good shit they do.

That does not seem worthwhile to me.

Hardman has contributed and will contribute more. He has the physical skills that he has. Those skills helped Georgia Bulldogs make it to Championship game and helped the Chiefs get to 2 Super Bowls and win one.

Considering that the Chiefs have the record of most years between Super Bowl wins, 50 years., Why not enjoy that? If you like saying this guy or that guy that made it to the league and helped a team win a championship warrants your badmouthing make the most of that.

Seems like a dumbass thing to do, but you can keep it up if it gives you kicks.

What does a kick return have to do with playing Wide Receiver? This question was about rating the receivers, not special teams. Hardman is a decent returner if he doesn't fumble. They have removed him from punt returners because he as a problem knowing when/where to fair catch.

If they want to keep Hardman around as a Kick Returner and #4 receiver, i'm ok with it. When definitely need to upgrade our #2 receiver though.

Hill
#2
Pringle
Hardman
#5
Fountain

I would be ok if they keep Hill, Pringle and cut the rest too. We don't know how long Hill and Kelce will remain healthy and so dominate. Kelce and Hill are so ****ing good, it's saved us in so many ways.
