My adult son keeps talking about getting a skeleton blowup for Halloween and then leaving it up for Christmas by decorating it as Jack Skelton from Nightmare Before Christmas. :)

We put up the Christmas tree and decorated the inside the Saturday after Thanksgiving. My youngest son, 14, brought all the bins in from the garage by himself without us having to ask. My oldest boy, 15, took them back to the garage Sunday morning. Again, we didn't have to ask. Color me shocked. I put the tree together, arrange the branches, and pass out ornaments to hang. The kids and wife do the decorating.

Somehow, this year I managed to drop and break an ornament that we got my oldest for his first Christmas. I felt like a complete dick as I sat there fixing it. It put the damper on the whole experience for me. After that, I didn't even feel like doing the outside lights. Maybe this weekend.
