Rules are different now. If you don't have symptoms you can come back sooner.

But any guys who have symptoms probably will have an uphill battle. It's only Tuesday though so let's wait and see.

The NFL won't have to send a bad ref team to take care of business, we will just have to play with both our arms tied behind our back.

RINGLEADER 12-21-2021 02:31 PM

The Internet tells me that people can test negative up to 3 days after a positive test and as long as "months after" a positive test. Got to think these guys are warriors and will overcome the bug sooner rather than later. Only concern I have is that the rest of our receivers and DBs are going to test positive over the next few days.

Guess it's better to go through this sooner than later but still sucks when total command of the AFC is in sight.

Everything happens for a reason...

We officially have an outbreak. Last year I don't think they had but 1-2 players with Covid but I am sure they were more strict with their protocols.

Yeah looking like we'll be playing on Tuesday. Not sure I want to play the Bengals on a short week but probably for the best.

wachashi 12-21-2021 02:34 PM

The positive cases will continue to pop-up every day until gameday as long as they keep testing. There's a vaccinated "close contact" piece of the protocol that requires testing of asymptomatic players, and that's likely to cause problems throughout the week.

louie aguiar 12-21-2021 02:35 PM

They should shut down facilities for the next couple days, try to isolate all the positive cases.

We beat a better Chargers team on 3 days rest, so I’d take my chances with playing them 5 days later more than missing half the team on Sunday.
