I want some guys who play hard every snap and are consistently a threat. Do we have a guy like that on this roster? Sure don’t. For all the talk about Chris Jones being disruptive he disappears games at a time. Clark sucks. Ingram is old. We need some playmakers on the D line. Let’s fix the D line first.

That's where I'd start also. Speaking of Jones, he had Burrow and let him get away for a 1st down, No way that should have happened.

Spags scheme needs elite safety play. If we aren't resigning HB we would need to find another guy of his caliber.

Sign Marcus Williams and revamp the d-line and call it good.

Spags defenses thrive if they can pressure with 4. If not, they struggle.

So basically, they're like everyone else's defenses.

Clark and Reed have got to go. I'd like to bring Ingram back.

We need an influx of consistent defensive linemen to add to Jones and Ingram.

Also, STOP TRADING YOUR 1ST ROUND PICKS.

I don't care if we really really really just need that one huge hole filled and we can't afford a free agent for this one season. We need cheap guys on 4+ year deals. Not dudes that we have to give mega millions to in an extension.

At some point we have to just take some lumps in order to keep a team continuously built up around Pat.

I know Hill and Kelce are getting older. But this fill-a-hole shit without thinking about Pat's career AFTER those two are gone has got to stop.

Pat will have opportunities after this year. He doesn't have to win all of his Super Bowls with the same players. And we should respect that and start to adjust and evolve as new guys come around.

Would you let Nnadi walk?

I'm totally non-committal.

I think he's just a guy. he can go or stay, either way, he's not hard to get a guy that is that player.

Gravedigger 01-30-2022 07:21 PM

Remove Eric Bieniemy.

Yeah, I think so. I would revamp that entire defensive line outside of Jones, Danna, Saunders and Kaindoh. And those last three are only because they’re under contract.

This teams needs depth and bad along the defensive line.

bevischief 01-30-2022 07:25 PM

New coordinators and draft picks.

Chris Meck 01-30-2022 07:26 PM

I'd sign Juju or Chark for #2 WR.

I'd sign Marcus Williams for HB's spot and salary.

I'd draft heavily on the front 7; I think one more LB and you have an elite LB corps, so you oughta do that.

I'd bring Ingram back. Wharton and Danna are depth. I'd bring Ogbah back for half of Clark's money. That and a first round DE ought to be a pretty good, and you'll need at least a run stuffing DT go in there, but that's not expensive.

I'd draft a RB in the mid rounds like a Jerome Ford.

and I'd just go ahead and sign Brown.

RunKC 01-30-2022 07:27 PM

I think we need to get a safety to replace badger. A leader. Not sure who but it’s a need.

I’d bring back Ingram, go hard for Ogbah, look for some nice depth moves like the 49ers just did (Arden Key/Charles Omehinhu), go after a good WR 2 and draft another edger rusher and DB with my first 2 picks.

It is clear that Bieniemy is going to be a career OC.
in last 3 seasons he has had multiple interviews and has impressed no one. He has to be fired. We need new blood, scheme etc.
I have been on the fire Spags wagon so long, I have splinters. Since I am an old codger I can boldly say out with the old and in with the new.

June 1st cut Clark.
Cut Hitchens.

That right there should put us at around $40 million in cap space. Extend Hill and lower his cap hit this year.

Re-sign Brown.

Then follow Chris Meck’s plan from above.

Wtf?? C’mon man. You think we have a SB without Andy. Andy can’t make the receivers catch balls, or Patrick not shit the bed. He obviously had some head scratching calls, but Andy didn’t lose this game for us.

I’d pay Ward. He’s a damn good corner. Haven’t had one like him in a while

We are desperate for new DEs and WRs.
