Allen's going to want something approximating Myles Garrett money to stay off the FA market. You have 1 year, his 5th year option and then a tag year (which is STOUT for DEs) so you don't necessarily have to cave, but if you give up another 1st, you're really in a tough spot when it comes time to contract talks.

I just don't know, man. That's a big damn gamble and I just don't think it's one we NEED to take.
