Sometimes you've gotta pat him on his head even if you had to smack him upside it first. Make him want to try to be a good dog. Near as I can tell, there's no upshot in being a good dog these days. Forgiveness is a myth.

So just sign every talented (key problem with Arnette) sack of crap out there and when one of them actually murders someone one of these days, play contrite, take your whupin in the press, and then 3 years later start the cycle anew.

And yeah, they took a TON of bad press for having/retaining Tyreek Hill. They also won a Super Bowl because they didn't do what the Vikings did.

Sometimes you just have to eat some shit and wait for the news cycle to change. The general public has the attention span of a housecat.
