Florida voted to end the stupid time change years ago. Still ****ing happening. So stupid. We’re closest state to the equator, and don’t need DST.

As a rule of thumb, if Cosmo is for it then I'm automatically against it until further notice

A few years ago, old school district moved the elementary kids to the first bus run and starts school at 7:40.

If this passes, those kids will go to school in the dark and so will the second run of the HS kids.

I warned them. No one listened.

Another solution in search of a problem.

Anyone remember starting DST in January for a few years in the 70's?

Ok. I am for this then. I don't care about kids. This gives ppl more time to spend money and to consume during the winter months and Ill be sleeping anyway when its dark.

This may surprise you, but we're capable of working on multiple things at the same time.

Bugeater 03-15-2022 05:56 PM

Oh my god yes. I've never heard a reasonable explanation why we do this anyway.

backinblack 03-15-2022 05:57 PM

feels like this will bring about arguments for making starting times for school later, like 9 am instead of 7 or 8.

Mainly just that 9am sunrises kind of suck, especially for schools.
