They are an extremely poorly run franchise.

They could have Herbert, Ja'Marr Chase, and their 2022 first and second had they merely stood pat and made the right choices. Instead, they have an injury prone game manager, Waddle, Hill, and an extra $30 million per year in annual obligations.

or
Reid and Veach without Mahomes is basically the Lions or Browns?

You're still crying, bruh? lol

For the record, I could have worded that better. I was saying that the Dolphins are irrelevant but not the dregs (Lions and Browns are the dregs).

I don't really get it for them. The trade guarantees they'll have him for five years beginning immediately. Getting him in FA in a year wouldn't allow for that guarantee, so they gave up compensation. That compensation, though, was significant for that guarantee.

Man - you remember how well situated they were after the Tunsil and Fitzpatrick deals?

They should be a budding dynasty. They should be terrifying right now and for the next 3-4 years at least.

But instead they need Hill to even be remotely relevant.

So said that, then you added a coda.

Reid and Veach were here pre-Mahomes, so I'm asking what the CP line is.

You should make a poll

Didn't they have a quiet 7 game win streak or something last year.

I know they sunk themselves early, and I'm sure there are plenty of tomato cans they knocked around in that streak, but I also think you're sleeping on relevance at the moment.

I think it's pretty obvious why Miami did this deal... and we'll find out soon if Tua is worth a damn at QB. Miami now has a nice set of weapons on offense.

FloridaMan88 03-23-2022 04:04 PM

You only do this type of trade if you have your franchise QB in place.

Tua is not a franchise QB, regardless of how hard the Dolphins will try to convince themselves otherwise.

There is no approved CP line, John.

Parker + Waddle + Hill + Edmonds/Mostert + Gesicki

sounds hilarious to even think but... does miami have the best set of weapons in the entire nfl right now?

Does foregoing usernames fall under veiled vitriol?

And, for there not being an approved line, there sure is a lot of pushback when lines are nudged.

Against the easiest schedule imaginable. They're still limited by their noodle armed qb. Although, Mike McDaniel is a hell of a football mind. Tyreek as a yac guy in a sf type offense is kind of interesting. Toward the end of his kc run he was kind of becoming that guy anyway.

There's no veil. That should be obvious.

There's only 1 other person in the history of CP to suggest that there's some kind of groupthink clique here that shouts down any dissenting opinion.

One only needs to read this thread to see that there's no such thing as a Planet party line.

That would be a big mistake to use Tyreek like Deebo. Tyreek is a great talent, but it is best to protect him from a lot of hard physical tackles.

Even Samuel was starting to wear down with how they were using him.
