My optimism for this receiver group would be cut in half if we signed Robinson. It would be such an indictment of the narrative we've all been running with that we can replace Hill with a cadre of more competent pieces.

Robinson is no such competent piece.

Some things that Demarcus Robinson did well for the Chiefs.

1. He was a good cheerleader for Tyreek Hill. He was always there for Tyreek during good times and bad. A team needs a guy like that for their star players.

2. He could get in the way on blocks. Not really a good blocker where he would knock anybody on their ass, but he did run interference down field.

3. Every once in a while, he would make a great catch. Just never sure when that was going to be.

4. He never really cost very much in the way of cap space.

5. He stayed healthy. He had a perfect game record in his 6 years with the Chiefs. He never missed a game and had 145 catches, 1,679 yards, and 14 TDs.

If the Chiefs get a WR injury, Chiefs might bring him back, but I would prefer they move on and maybe Miami picks him up to cheer for Tyreek.
