I guess his claim of having "dirt" on the league was bullshit. Shocking.

No. He just realized who the real owners are.

It would be much better if the teams were owned by trusts of the municipalities where they are based. Cities should not be held hostage by a bunch of greedy one who sucks the peniss once their stadium needs its first paint job.

I still like having some kind of ownership interest, but something along your lines at least ensures the city that bends over backwards for a team at least gets some say. Anything to at least create some accountability. Of course it's all a pipe dream because nfl owners and therefore the league would never allow it

NFL specifically outlawed that as they don't want another Green Bay situation.

You know it.

I wonder if the new ownership will change the name again

What's wrong with the Green Bay situation? Do they send some drunken peasant in a cheese hat to the annual owners meeting?

Green Bay, the city, is by far the smallest city to have a major sports team. The Packers are communally owned so the NFL can't threaten to move the Packers to say Milwaukee. The NFL basically has no leverage over the city of Green Bay.

I know a Commanders fan that's been hoping and praying that Snydes would sell. He's a very happy dude today, restrained and cautiously optimistic, but very happy.

You're right dude, there is absolutely no corruption whatsoever in politics, sports or anything else on planet Earth. Everything is on the up and up and the league is run by a close knit group of church choir members. They just like to get together and sing hymns and worship the lord. LMAO

I wouldn't doubt for a second that Snyder has plenty of dirt on quite a few of these ruthless shitheads, and just decided it would be stupid to try and go after the golden goose that feeds 31 of the most powerful men in America and he would just go ahead and take his $6 billion, as any sane person would after the initial anger wore off.

I got a buddy that is an expert at evaluating Pro Sports teams I'll give him a call and see what kind of price we are looking at.
