He probably typed it. He just used the doctor's notes on his injury. If a PR guy wrote that, fire him. I mean what a slap in the face to your teammates and backup qb.

I just wonder how long it took that reerun to put together a coherent paragraph.

Lmao.

That is unbelievable. I can't believe the team would want him tweeting that. He doesn't have an agent. So who else would have put that in there?

FloridaMan88 01-13-2023 10:31 AM

I want Lamar Jackson to go to the Dolphins just to hear Tyreek try to make the case about him being the most accurate QB in the league.

chiefforlife 01-13-2023 10:41 AM

I like Lamar, hes a good dude. He wants to be out there for his team but he also knows they dont have much of a chance without him. Probably shouldnt have said that but he was honest.

The Ravens have played this to perfection at Lamars expense. They knew with his style of play they were likely to get 3-4 years out of him before the injuries started to pile up and here we are.

I get not wanting to pay an agent to save money but that will end up costing him way more in the long run. He may never see the kind of money that was being talked about.

bye bye

Chargers with Mike Williams this season: 8-2

Chargers without Mike Williams: 2-4

FloridaMan88 01-13-2023 11:39 AM

Fireable offense by Staley to play Mike Williams last week.

wazu 01-13-2023 11:40 AM

Broken back in a meaningless game. He got "Staleyed". That's how the NFL needs to refer to similar pointless injuries going forward. "How many players do you think will get Staleyed in this pre-season game?"

Spott 01-13-2023 11:44 AM

Not only is he likely out the rest of the season, but a back injury like that can linger for a very long time. Staley should be fired.

It's huge for us. Now we face Baltimore (very unlikely), Jax, or the Chargers minus Williams. (And no, we're not facing Miami.)

I'm guessing Reid and Co. have been game planning all week for Jax and LA. Far less chances of upsets this year.

Helps us either way. The Chargers are much more beatable without him, plus we could get Jacksonville.

The only way this hurts the Chiefs is if Baltimore somehow wins this weekend, then the Bills play the Chargers without Williams (assuming they beat Jacksonville that is).

Not sure how you can say that. Does anyone even know what his injury is?
