if "Chiefs" is an insult to native people and the arrowhead
I'd like to understand why this seems like something white women came up with to show how woke they are |

For the record, the Chiefs aren't named after American Indians...they are named after H. Roe Bartle, former KC mayor who was known as "Chief."
Harold Roe Bennett Sturdyvant Bartle (June 25, 1901 – May 9, 1974), better known as H. Roe Bartle, was an American businessman, philanthropist, executive, and professional public speaker who served two terms as mayor of Kansas City, Missouri. After Bartle helped lure the Dallas Texans American Football League team to Kansas City in 1962, owner Lamar Hunt renamed the franchise the Kansas City Chiefs after Bartle's nickname, The Chief. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harold_Roe_Bartle |

I think the name is not offensive but it is bad and lame. I think a name change would be great but it is not a hill I really care to die on and watching people overreact to simply asking the question is always funny. Too bad Sacramento owns the trademark of the Kansas City Kings.

If your big point is that an NFL team is a stronger brand than an MLS team that plays in a league that started in 1996 then...go on with those hot takes. :) |
How about you legally change YOUR name first, from Dana to Dumbshit?
