Help a dumbass out: What does Flowers do that Skyy Moore does not?

Skyy Moore is great off the line. He gets jammed, he still gets open. I think he's going to catch a bunch of short passes in his career.

Zay Flowers can cut in any direction on a dime. He isn't nearly as great handling a jam or getting off the line but holy shit can he get open in intermediate routes. I think those two would pare NICELY with MVS going deep and Kelce finding holes all over the place to settle in to while DBs chase these guys all over the field.

Flowers makes DBs look silly when he cuts in a way that few do. His top end speed is good but his speed on cuts is exceptional.

Yeah that's because it was all after the fact BS.

Nobody had the Chiefs on a RB, then we all justified it. ****ing horrible pick.

I agree that Andy Reid doesn't like big receivers, and don't call MVS a big receiver just because of his height, as he is the smallest 6'4" WR ever.

But, every time we play the Chargers, and Mike Williams clowns every single DB on the roster when they go up for 50/50 balls, I really want Mahomes to have someone like that.

Other than Kelce, we don't have a ball catcher that can consistently win on contested catches.

Yeah Flowers has some Toney in him with his ability to run full speed and then just....stop. And his build is closer to a Tyreek Hill. Moore is more of a smooth mover, Flowers has more "Bang, bang cut!" if you know what i mean. He's a thicker bodied player than Moore. And while they timed similar at the combine, Flowers shows up on "film" as a faster, twitchier player.

And i agree, i think they'd compliment each other well.

My only hesitation with Flowers has nothing to do with the player, but rather im just not sure the Chiefs want another small receiver in a room full of small receivers.

I've never watched Flowers play, but his size scares me. Not saying he wont' be awesome to begin with, but can he take a hit from Micah Parsons (or someone similar) and still be a threat the rest of the game? Maybe?

This is a pretty overlooked situation regarding CEH. He lost just enough burst that it killed his game, since he didn't have any whatsoever to spare. It's really a shame, he looked extremely good the first part of his rookie year.

Today's rules kinda allow small WR's to survive in this league, which is why you see them more and more.

Jaylen Waddle and DeVonta Smith are two guys who come to mind in similar weight. Except those guys are skinny, where as Flowers is more of a compact muscle ball ala Hill.

Guys are getting smaller and smaller because of the league valuing speed. Emmanuel Forbes is gonna go in the first round and he's 165lb CB.

Why isn't MVS what you're talking about? MVS is 6-4 and fast as hell.

Short answer: he’s a run fast in a straight line WR. He’s Hardman just taller.

His best game was his first game. He never again reached that level of production.

That and they're not prone to getting lit the **** up thanks to NFL safety rules.

I never understood that. Who cares how big Metcalf was if his 40 time was the same as Hardman's? What scared Reid away from a Superman type receiver?
