Okay, that’s cool because it’s a terrible thing to experience.
Especially if you have a ruptured appendix that’s gone septic.
But there’s reasons to do it just like squeezing your nuts, looking for tumors and shit.
Take the ****in tests and live longer my friend.

While I appreciate the sentiment, their financial consequences for losing your business are far lower than your potential health consequences for never getting it done and wishing you had. Our medical system requires you to be proactive a lot of the time, as frustrating as it is.

We'll give it another shot here in a couple of months. The roid needs some obedience training anyway.

"Who’s had a colonoscopy?"

With or without a doctor. I need some clarification...........

I think DC is becoming more of a joy to visit than the lounge.

There are false negatives a lot with that test. If you are 50+ you need a colonoscopy, end of sentence. If its clear then you don't have to get one for another 10 years (depending on family history.) As you age your risk goes up not down. Once you hit 85 you don't have to get them anymore because colon cancers grow very slowly, and the probability is you will pass away before a cancer would grow.

Thanks and I will make sure to tell him I need one. I thought it sounded strange when he said that and I don't think I misunderstood him.

In regards to Cologuard I have read there is alot of false positives but haven't heard much about false negatives. Thanks for the info

How about a colostomy, who's had one of those?

I'm always very careful when I check in for my colonoscopy that I don't accidentally say I'm there for a colostomy.

What kind of sensations did you feel? Did you do anything that made it more pleasurable to your doc?

I went with ColoGuard instead, it achieves the same thing with a lot less hassle... just poop in a cup and send it off to the lab, 99% accuracy
