I’d be delighted to see 5 receivers with between 500 and 800 yards each and Kelce with another 1200. Add in the running backs and spare WR and TE’s and 5000 yards is in the bag. People keep thinking there has to be a dominant WR. With a deep WR room, Kelce, and Mahomes, we really don’t need a dominant WR target to emerge. Our current set up is harder to defend and will leverage and enhance Mahomes’ strength in reading defenses.

That's where I am at.
I don't mind WR by committee but would like to see some load management for Kelce. And on third downs, maybe you don't need a WR1, but you kind of want to know somebody will get open and that somebody will catch the ball and keep the drive alive. We should find out soon! |
Ross
They lined him up in the slot against NO and he feasted. They put him on the outside vs CLE and are heavily. There's nothing he can't do. |
Richie mother****ing James!

I get the excitement about Ross, but CP has fallen in love with a training camp star basically every year, and they rarely work out. He'll be lucky to even be active most game days. He's got potential, but so did Jody Fortson.

I'm going with MVS only because he's a proven vet. While I'd like to see Moore, Rice, and Ross all hit 1K yards, I don't believe it's going to happen this year. If Toney can stay healthy, he'd be a close 2nd.

Seriously. I mean, just logically, Ross would have to leapfrog over two other guys just to have the chance to suit up every week. And even then, he might not get a target in a game. Or several games. Just by sheer bad luck. And then there's the fact that in a handful of snaps vs. Denzel Ward Last week, Ross couldn't create an inch of separation, and caught zero balls vs. Ward. Bottom line, he's got to get on the field regularly first. Then we'll just see. |

Ross is going to be the guy that even when he isn't open, he's open. |

Watson is the insurance policy for Rice, Ross, and MVS. But they know what Watson is, and what the ceiling is. He can play 'up' a bit for a stretch, but he is what he is. I think they'll give Rice and Ross a lot of looks, and more as the season goes on. |
I just don't see the ceiling with Skyy. Good solid player but if hes our leading WR we are in deep ****ing shit.

Ross. Toney is not going to last the whole season (I LOVE him but his history of injuries states otherwise). Skyy is questionable to me - flashes but needs, to me, another season. I see why the Chiefs elected to add 7 WRs to the 53. We will have to wait and see how this plays out. I hope ALL have an incredible season!
