If the knee swells at all you hold him out and give him 12 days off of it with rehab

And it will just add to the legacy when PMII throws for 350/4 in the home opener without 87 ;)

Good point.

The 'mini-bye' likely breaks all ties here. You get a loooooot of rest between now and week 2, provided you don't do anything to make it worse.

Probably smarter to sit him, as much as that would suck. I suspect we hear 'gametime decision' either way to make the Lions prepare for the possibility that he plays.

(By the way - THIS is the worry about Kelce as he ages. Not that he's suddenly bad when he's available, but that he won't be available as often)

Who else would get the majority of snaps? While being undersized might matter for a career it does not have much bearing on him producing in 1 football game

Yes. It's one of those things.

Then you click on the link, and he's listed as "questionable" for Thursday.

I think Dr. Chao is putting his own "slant" on the story.

It's time for Gracie to sell that ass for a top 5 pick next year. Brock Bowers come on down.

They're all different and I wasn't the size of Kelce but I hyperextended my knee before and it was just a really weird feeling walking on it. I didn't tear anything it's more like I stretched everything out.

Probably shift to McKinnon. Not that Gray won't get a few extra targets. But he isn't going to really replace much of what Kelce does for the offense. Andy will have to spread the ball around, and McKinnon is the obvious next option, based on past production.

going to be real fun when Toney gets hurt in the first quarter…mahomes might have to throw to himself.

We'll wait for Rappaport to drop something on it here in the next few hours.

It's why some of us were calling for a TE in the draft to help alleviate some of his snaps.
