We couldn't, not with CJ & his agents negotiations in the offseason. They were dead set on Aarond Donald money (ridiculous... and **** you to the Rams franchise for screwing up that market).

CJ ended up settling for an insignificant bump over his slated 19.5M, but that extended holdout and BS negotiation blocked us out of any significant FA moves. It, for all intents and purposes, kept us from doing anything other than negotiate with him and his agents.

Oh I could easily look at a tv screen to watch the rest of the game, I just chose not to. It’s not a big deal except to you and At no point was that game being called fairly.
