No, it means that the guy hasn’t been the complete brokedick that might mean you’re right and that he’ll be out of the league next year. Isn’t that the only thing I’ve argued with you?

It’s like picking the right numbers for the lottery and being so proud of yourself despite the fact that you’re not even willing to buy a ticket.

You do you.

So in this analogy....toney playing for a team next year is like winning the lottery? And that's what I'm buying a ticket for? What makes football discussions the "lottery" to you?

Its Rick James time bitch.

I'll give you 10:1 odds that he's on an NFL team next season (and much more likely than not the Chiefs).

He's been durable this year. He's shown clear flashes of being a real playmaker. The Chiefs haven't exactly had any sort of consistency in terms of who gets snaps, opportunities, and targets in a predictable way this season, and Toney is right in the middle of that.

But look, 10:1 odds pretty good for you since it seems like you actually think that's the most likely outcome for the guy. I just strongly disagree with you and these are the odds I'm willing to offer.

Flashes my ass. He's been next to worthless

I’ll slow this down.

We’re talking about a low probability outcome - say, 5% - that you are putting out there as if the odds are 75%. And then when I disagree with you and imply that his health hasn’t exactly been a complete disaster this year which would be the main reason his career ends, you respond mockingly as if I’m the one who doesn’t understand how Toney might be viewed.

So, we have a real difference of opinion. You implied something was likely and I think it’s very, very unlikely, and I’m willing to give you very favorable odds commensurate with my view that you would clearly be incentivized to take if you really thought you were right.

If Toney isn’t in the league next year and we bet $1, you get $10 and only risked $1 in doing so. Seems like a good bet if you feel like your odds are right and I’m the clueless one here.

What a weird way to live man. If your wife says she'll likely be home in an hour, do you press her about making a bet on if she'll actually be home in an hour or not?

You're way too fixated on being right or wrong. It's just a forum man, no one cares.

Seems like they may have learned their lesson when they took Rice, but I’ll believe it when I see it consistently. Hopefully the days of passing on elite talent for these useless gadget shitheads is over, but I wouldn’t bet on it.

Thats one of the things I like about him. He did lose the bet vs me, too. Bless his heart. I respect paying and making right on your bets one way or another.

Holy shit what’s happening guys. This is a really bad sign. This WR group. They’ll cost us this season. I don’t see how they don’t ..

Veach\Reid really ****ed up in regards to the WR room. What a unmitigated disaster

ChiefsCountry 11-25-2023 03:20 PM

CP on Monday night/Tuesday morning get rid of all the WRs

CP on Saturday when two WRs won't play, sky if falling we can't win now.

Perine and Powell?

I'd bet it's Washington, but I'd like to see Powell get a look to see if he's worth screwing around with or not. It's probably time to shit or get off the pot with that dude.
