A Christmas Story is a boomer movie that is overplayed. It's annoying that it's on all day on X mas bc my boomer parents made me watch the shit out of it that day every year.

Christmas vacation is good but it's not as funny as people make it out to be.

I feel like Home Alone and Elf (20 years old this year) have both aged incredibly well and will continue to age well as the years go on.

Also **** yeah to Trading Places! I love that movie

Also, Home Alone.

Home Alone is the best Christmas movie of all-time.

Love Actually needs to be confined to the depths of hell.

Die Hard is a Christmas movie, doesn't matter what Bruce says.

Trading Places is a New Years' Eve movie.

We go every year to the KC Rep Theater to see their production of A Christmas Carol and every year it's excellent.

Even though it's goofy, I always liked Jingle All The Way.

It's a Wonderful Life
Die Hard
Christmas Vacation

A Christmas Story was better when I was a kid. The film has a Forrest Gump type replay value for me these days.

I’ll start with what I assume will be one of the favorites to win.

Christmas Vacation.

That’s my favorite for sure.

I’ve always enjoyed how you can pick out so many of your own family members in that movie.

Good film. They showed it much more frequently in the 1990's and 2000's. It's rated "R" and has racial motives so it doesn't get played as often. Real shame.

Is that the one where Santa completely empties his sack for one deserving family?

For new movies Spirited on Amazon is pretty good. You have to like Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrel though. If you like them you will probably like the movie, if not you probably won’t like it.

A second nomination for, It’s a Wonderful Life.

Also love, Elf.

Isn’t Gremlins a Christmas time story?
