Even if the helmet's integrity isn't jeopardized by being slammed on the ground, though, I'd still rather not see a player do that. It's dangerous to folks in the immediate area and it doesn't do much to advance the helmet thrower's interests, while also being a bad example to kids and other folks. There's a lot of interpersonal violence out there in people's homes and elsewhere and I don't want to see Mahomes or any of my other favorite players reacting like that when things don't go their way. I get angry at shit, too, and yell about things, but that's not the way to be and I try to control myself.
...come to think about it, the main thing I yell about are NFL refs |

Point taken. I'm probably being a little sillly worrying about the kids. In my defense, my title is professor of pediatrics, but really I'm just a statistics professor involved in lots of violence prevention research, among other things. |

It's such a crap shoot this year. Love it to be honest. Just need to play a bit cleaner and they can absolutely beat anybody.

I agree except I think we get the 2 seed and the 1 loses so the AFCCG is at Arrowhead again..

Just flipping some shit, I do get the concern overall in that if a kid is going to idolize an athlete, you don't want that athlete to come off as unhinged. |
