Definitely. KC has been in that situation with Mahomes, but responded in a strong manner every time:
Playoffs for 2018: Down 14-0 to Patriots at Halftime. Chiefs scored 31 points in the second half. KC would have won the game in regulation if not for Dee Ford offsides penalty. Current rule would have given Mahomes a chance to touch the ball in Overtime.
Playoffs for 2019: Down 24-0 to Houston in 2nd quarter, but end up winning the game 51-31. Down 17-7 to Tennessee in 2nd quarter, but end up winning the game 35-24. Down 20-10 to San Fran in 4th quarter, but end up winning 31-20 in the Super Bowl.
Playoffs for 2022: Down 24-14 to Philly at Halftime, but end up winning 38-35 in the Super Bowl.
