Sure... a decent place is about $1000 a night, 3 nights with taxes be about $4000 bucks, it all adds to the budget.

I had a 20k budget for LIV. This included 2 tix, flights, rental car and lodging. Lodging in Florida was fairly reasonable.

Just go to DC for Saturday night and take the Amtrak/Marc train up to Baltimore on Sunday. Train tickets are very cheap. My understanding is that there will be light rain in the AM but should be ok by game time.

Yeah, I just took Acela business class from DC to Baltimore Penn for like $70 RT.

Been there a handful of times. Inner harbor area is pretty cool. Sports venues are close. Little Italy is cool and definitely worth checking out. I walked to Little Italy from the inner harbor. Federal Hill area is cool if you're into historical things, and also within short walking distance from the Inner Harbor, Camden Yards, and M&T stadium. In fact, everything I mention is within about a mile and a half from the sports venues.

In terms of the Inner Harbor, highlights for me were Camden Yards, the aquarium, and Pier 6 pavilion. Good views from the top of the World Trade Center on the bank of the harbor. Pier 6 pavilion won't be operating this time of year I don't expect, but it's a really cool music venue, an outdoor amphitheater next to the WTC right on the bank of the harbor. I've only been there in the spring and summer.

I'm not a seafood guy, but the crab cakes I ate really were incredible. Haven't been there since 2005, so I don't remember the name of the restaurant, but I'm sure any place around the inner harbor will have great crab cakes.

I always came in though the light rail that comes into the city from BWI, and you'll definitely roll through some super sketchy neighborhoods on your way to the stadium if you come via that route. But you're on the train, so it really doesn't affect you.

Some really cool pubs on the short walk down Pratt St. from Camden Yards/M&T down to the inner harbor. There's a huge conglomeration of restaurants in the same structure on the inner harbor. Can't remember what it was called, but you can't miss it.

Me and a buddy are going out. If you're looking for a last minute flight, there's an Express Deal in the Priceline app right now for Sat out/Mon back, MCI to DCA for $241. They don't show you the exact times or airlines until after, but mine was United both ways.

I lived in Northern Virginia for 10 years prior to moving to AZ. My prior job was traveling ALL OVER Virginia, Maryland, some DC, West Virginia going to Shopping Centers, Commercial Buildings, Apartment Buildings and Strip Malls and dealing with the property managers in maintaining their properties. I drove 50,000-60,000 miles a year from 2011-2017, all around that ****ing 495 beltway, rain, sleet, snow, heat.

I grew up in New Jersey and have been all over Philly, NJ and NY City. All over the Eastern Seaboard. I used to rack up 60,000-70,000 miles a year at times.

38 countries, and 41 states.
I lived in Toronto Canada for a year. Lived in San Fran for 2 and Silicon Valley for 3 years 1996-2001.
Been to China 16 times and Hong Kong 14 times starting in 1994.
Went to Australia for a month in 1987. Also spent 2 weeks in New Zealand and 10 days in Fiji during same trip.
Been to Rio de Janiero for 2 weeks during carnival.
All over Europe, including staying in Italy for 10 days with former NBA player Darryl Dawkins.
Been to Bora Bora, Hawaii, Cuba, Haiti, Jamaica, Barbados, Bermuda, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, British Virgin Islands on a dive boat, Barbados, Cozumel, Cayman Islands 2x's.

We’re headed out as well; me, the wife, sister, and brother-in-law. Can’t wait…

Never been to Baltimore. Some of the above posts have me concerned. We’re booked in an Air Bnb about .5 mile NW of the stadium. Neighborhood is called Pigtown, I believe. Looks clean, nice cars, etc. on Google street view. Anyone have any better intel?

We get in late Friday night. Looking for something to do Saturday if there’s a good place to go, stuff to see, beer to drink, etc.

Any good KC Bars around there, BRC?

Thanks for the help!

You didn't know the airline? It's terrifying to think that it could have been Frontier.

The only guy that could compete with you is Johnny Cash...and he's been Everywhere, Man!

The funny thing is that there are people who are true travelers or travel because of work or they have a vacation and they go to the same place every year.

The true travelers have been to a lot more places than I have.

I know and have met many people with 50,60 and even 100 countries.

Canadians and Brits are huge travelers.

I did 90% of my travel between 18-40 years old.

I still want to get to Greece, the Philippines, England/Ireland/Scotland a safari in Kenya/Tanzania along with the Seychelles, Spain/Portugal, Eastern Europe and the Galapagos Islands.

I have given up on Middle East/Israel, 95% of Africa, India, Scandinavian countries, Central and South America with exception of Argentina. I don't feel the need to visit any more Caribbean Islands.

WOOT! Have fun. Give us some feedback on the "VIP Tailgate". Liked to know if it was worth it.

Sorry, no Baltimore chapter. Haven't heard of a Chiefs focused bar there.

The DC group is planning a tailgate before the game.
